Tomorrow I will be setting up with a couple other local artists at 608 Brewing Company for an artist gallery/popup sale. This is something I am definitely unfamiliar with.
Aside from my typical nervousness, I am excited to present, for the first time, a cohesive selection of images that are personal to me. After spending years in advertising I have taken a step back and re-evaluated my purpose and intentions when creating art, and the majority of these images I have printed are a reflection of that.
I am guilty of overthinking everything in life, and I couldn't decide whether I wanted to show the prints I will have available, or to leave it as a surprise when people come to the popup. I ended up making this promo that highlights a good majority of what I will have presented, and I appropriately titled it "think less".
